What are cookies?

“Cookies are small, usually randomly encoded, text files that help your browser navigate through a particular website. The new cookie privacy law

On the 26th May 2011, the Infomation Commissioners Office (ICO) published a press release outlining changes to the law which applies to how you use cookies and similar technologies for storing information on a user’s equipment such as their computer or mobile device.

What cookies are used on the CCS websites?

These cookies are used to store information, such as what time the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before, and what site referred the visitor to the web page. Opting out & the future

As the ICO release more information on the expectations and results of the new law over the coming year, we shall introduce changes and features to the website. Our primary goal is to simplify any “opt-out” or cookie control process for you.
